Most only have online applications, but I would like to go in and apply. Is this possible and what part of the store do I go to?

Yes, go to the service counter and ask to speak to a manager or assistant manager. Make sure you go during a non busy time. Fill out the online application so you are in the company’s database. Then staple the following together.

Do not fold the papers or stick them in an envelop, you want your papers to be face up on someone’s desk and easily identifiable. Dress to impress, don’t drag your kids along, don’t walk your dog, etc, etc. If they tell you that you have to apply online, politely tell them that you did, but that you wanted to introduce yourself in person. Thank them for their time. Be extreamly polite with an outgoing personality.
